THERAPEUTIC WELLBEING

Therapy is meant to be more than just paying for a nice chat on a comfy couch. In our sessions, we will actively identify areas causing distress in the client’s life and get down to business to promote better mental health for the client. This is done by embarking on a joint process where we look at the client’s situation through new “lenses”, in order to identify faulty thoughts and behaviours that might be contributing to the client’s issues and modifying these. I also focus on identifying the client’s existing personal strengths and resources (and yes, they do exist within every person!) in order to equip them with a psychological “toolbox” to aid them in their journey to personal growth.
